Guest Passes
Each member is welcome to bring one guest per visit. Each guest may visit two times in a calendar year as long as they are accompanied by the member.
Guests must…
• be accompanied by a YMCA member.
• have photo identification such as driver’s license or school id.
• pay the daily guest pass fee of $20 per family or $10 per adult or $5 per youth under age 18.
• carry their photo identification with them at all times.
• wear the neon green wristband while in the facility.
• adhere to the YMCA Code of Conduct.
David D. Hunting YMCA Child Care Center Receives Accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children
Constant and consistent focus on quality, service, education and relationships has paid off at the David D. Hunting YMCA Child Care Center. After a rigorous two-year process of reviews and evaluations against stringent criteria, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) has granted accreditation to the Center. The accreditation is a challenging and rare achievement, and the DDH YMCA is one of the first child care programs in the country to earn this distinction.
“The hard work of our excellent and committed staff both on the job, and throughout this process is clearly evidenced by receiving this NAEYC accreditation. I am so proud of our child care staff and the families we serve for earning this mark of excellence. Not to mention the distinction of being one of the first centers in the country to receive NAEYC accreditation,” said Heather Walczewski, Child Development Director.
Evaluation areas included the realms of education, curriculum, child progress, teachers, community relationships, health, families, facilities and leadership and management. The DDH YMCA earned marks of 100% compliance in each of these key areas. As recognized industry experts, the YMCA offers the inside scoop of how to evaluate and select excellent child care.

Strive Wellness Area Programs
One of our latest additions is an area that has Strive strength equipment for ages 5 and up. Our Strive area is set up in a circuit formation to help you get an effective workout in a short amount of time. Try some of our interactive equipment too, like kickboxing, interactive cycling or Dance Dance Revolution!
Women on Weights (WOW) Circuit - ages 12 and up
WOW Graduate Program - ages 18 and up
FIT (Females in Training) - ages 10 and up
FAST (Fathers and Sons Together) - ages 10 and up
Strive Family Circuit - ages 8 and up
Youth Personal Training - ages 13 and up

Strive Family Wellness Center
The Strive Family Wellness Area is the latest addition to the David D. Hunting YMCA. With activities for all ages, this wellness area has strength equipment for ages 5 and up (4' 0"- 5'8") that is set up in a circuit formation to help you get an effective workout in a short amount of time. Do you want to work on coordination and get a great workout too? Then try some of our interactive equipment: from kickboxing to Dance Dance Revolution, you are sure to work up a sweat!
