The Y’s Community Outreach Department is dedicated to impacting lives through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
We are committed to making a difference, and are honored to partner with schools, health care organization, community centers, and churches to build a healthier community. By taking the best of what the Y has to offer out of our buildings and into our neighborhoods, we are able to go where need is greatest. Our goal is to make an impact by helping families in their search for wellness in spirit, mind and body.
The links in the left column on this page give an overview of our work – from providing children and families the opportunity to enjoy an active lifestyle and learn about healthy eating to partnering with local farmers to bring fresh produce to our city’s most vulnerable citizens.
