Upcoming Classes

Spin Theatre
This safe and fun environment for your child will allow them to engage in physical activity while watching the newest Disney cartoon movies that are out on DVD while hanging out with their peers. There are six colorful NEW youth mountain bikes available, one for each participant. The bikes are limited, so sign up today!

Bellydancing for Health
(Ages 17 and up)
Exercise your mind, body and spirit as you study the beautiful art form of Bellydance. Wear your workout gear to class and be ready to warm up your body. You will experience choreographed movement that will work you from the inside out. Connect to a variety of cultural ideas and traditions as you embrace the many joys of the world's oldest dance.

In the Kid Zone:
Date night volunteers: 2nd Friday of the month from 6-10.
Kid zone volunteers: varied schedule
• Special project volunteer, ex: crafts, story time, puppeteer
• General volunteer during kid zone hours

In the Teen Zone:
Volunteer for after hours special events for 10 year olds to 15 year olds such as Guitar Hero competition, etc.
Teen zone café volunteer

At the membership desk:
Scanners (scanning in membership cards)
Greeters : usually in the evening especially at the beginning of sports sessions. Helping members and non members find where there programs are located

Sports department:
Coaches for various sports

Aquatics:
Assistants to swim lesson instructors
Greeter: usually at the beginning of programs to help parents and child find which swim instructor is theirs.

Maintenance department:
General maintenance work :ex: light cleaning, folding towels
Volunteers for out “detail cleaning nights” this is when we move equipment and clean under everything. We do this about once every 3 months

Wellness:
Volunteers to help give orientations, must have a fitness background
Light cleaning of equipment
Office work

Offices:

Filing
Simple clerical work

General:
Strong Kids volunteers for various events
We are opening a food pantry and need volunteers for every Saturday from 9-11 a.m.
