Tony Burdick

Tony has a degree in Exercise Science and is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer. He is also a Precision Nutrition level 1 certified coach. As a personal trainer, Tony works with a wide variety of clientele and refines his programs to produce the greatest results for each client. Tony focuses on small, consistent changes over time through attainable goals and hard work. He enjoys taking his clients on this journey and strives to balance hard work and having fun!

Aaron Chapman

Aaron is a NASM certified personal trainer who served in the Army for seven years. He has a experience working with a wide variety of clients and shares a passion to make positive change in client’s life while reaching their goals for weight loss, strength and conditioning, or overall fitness.

Michael Cromwell

Michael has a diverse background in functional fitness, post-rehabilitation therapies and conditioning training. A NASM Certified Personal Trainer and TRX instructor, Michael studied health science with an emphasis in physical education and wellness at Grand Valley State University. Michael believes that training and coaching reinforce motivation, and from motivation comes commitment; training is successful if geared toward reasonably challenging and concrete goals.

Aaron Donovan

Aaron is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and is also hold certifications in Parisi Speed School and TRX Level 1. His training focuses on, but is not limited to, sports performance, rehabilitation, weight loss management, and strength & hypertrophy. His goal is to provide the best program for the individual for their short- and long-term goals

Amanda Fisher

Amanda has a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a Level 1TRX Instructor. As a personal trainer, Amanda works with a variety of clientele, from those beginning their fitness journey to those transitioning from a rehabilitation program.  Her goal is to educate and instruct clients in both health and fitness so they can make the changes needed to meet their goals. No matter what her client’s goals, she believes that by building a strong foundation of proper form and technique, anything is possible. Amanda enjoys teaching Les Mills classes at the Mary Free Bed YMCA and watching her clients go beyond what they thought was ever possible.

Amanda Hoffmeyer

Amanda has her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and is certified through Balanced Body in both Pilates Mat and Pilates Reformer training. She believes that body awareness is key for improving health, from the athlete to someone recovering from surgery. Through Amanda’s outpatient orthopedic experience, current practice, and love for fitness, she is excited to partner with you to help you reach your personal fitness goals.

Mary Lawson

Mary earned a Pilates certification from the Physical Mind Institute and a Health Coach certification from Well Coaches. She is also a certified Group Fitness Instructor and a certified Behavior Change Specialist from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Mary’s goal is to provide a safe and effective Pilates program for new exercisers as well as conditioned athletes. Pilates offers mind/body integration, an increase in strength, flexibility and proper body alignment for improved posture and ease of movement.  She believes once clients learn Pilates, they will apply it to everyday movements and any activity they do at the YMCA.

Ashley Lustre

Ashley is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Science. During her studies and work with patients in outpatient physical therapy, she learned the true value of exercise and how it affects our physical, mental, and emotional health.  She enjoys connecting with individuals of all ages and abilities.  Her objective when working with clients is to provide them with the tools and support that they need to accomplish their individual goals.

Leslie Nelson

Leslie is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and is also a certified instructor in Les Mills BODYPUMP and RPM. Leslie’s goal as a personal trainer is to partner with her client on their journey to become stronger, healthier, and happier. Leslie specializes in total body strength and fitness training. She begins training with building a strong foundation of core strength, range of motion and creating lean muscle mass. Whether your goal is weight loss, hypertrophy, quick twitch muscle enhancement, or agility training, you will get there together.

Katolo Mendamenda

Katolo is an ACSM certified personal trainer and Les Mills certified group fitness instructor. He believes fitness needs to be part of a healthy lifestyle and uses boxing-specific training to enhance an individual’s fitness. His passion for training is to create life-changing experiences, achieve fitness goals, and to help individuals reach their full potential.

Bennett Mallory

Bennett is passionate about helping individuals improve their quality of life through healthy lifestyle choices. An ACSM certified personal trainer and TRX instructor, he specializes in training highly-motivated individuals of all ages to encourage proficient and efficient movement, achieving results as quickly and safely as possible.

Shelley Roberts

Shelly has her degree in Psychology and is certified in STOTT Pilates and ACE. She believes A Renewed Core (ARC) and a relaxed neck is the new way of training that will have you less in the gym and give you more awareness of where your body is in space.  Through the ARC system, clients reduce or eliminate pain in their neck, shoulders, back, knees and hips.  Shelley uses yoga and Pilates together to help clients build true core strength, flexibility, and a refreshed spirit.  Shelley brings over 25 years of observation and practice within her field and works with clients to discover new ways to sit, stand, and move that restore their spine to a healthier condition.

Dianne Strawser

Dianne is a NSCA Certified Personal Trainer and CSAS Certified Speed and Agility Specialist. With more than 40 years of coaching and playing soccer, athletics have been a big part of her Dianne’s life. She is a strength and conditioning specialist with an emphasis in sports conditioning. Dianne is in awe of how our bodies move and function. While training, she feels it is vital that exercises mimic movements that are used on a daily basis. Dianee works with people of all ages and fitness levels and loves to form relationships with everyone.

Kristin Throop

Kristin has a degree in Occupational Therapy and is a ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. Kristin has practiced as an Occupational Therapist for over 20 years in many different areas of rehabilitation.  She has a passion for working with a wide range of ages and abilities to help improve function, strength, cardiovascular fitness, and overall health.  Kristin is a certified and seasoned Les Mills instructor and teaches group fitness at the Mary Free Bed and David D. Hunting YMCA’s.

 

Kristi Tuck

Kristi has a degree in Exercise Science and is ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. She is also certified through ACSM as a Health Fitness Specialist, Wellcoaches as a Wellness Coach, Metagenics as a FirstLine Therapy Lifestyle Educator, as well as various specialty certifications ranging from Special Populations, Post Rehabilitation, Cancer, Diabetes, and Plant Based Nutrition. Kristi brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience from working in the field. Her passion lies in providing her clients with the tools they need to reach their healthy lifestyle goals.

Justine Volz

Justine has a degree in Exercise Science and is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. She enjoys educating people on the importance of exercise, helping them meet their goals, and realize that exercise is intimidating. Through hard work and a positive attitude, Justine helps her clients reach their goals one step at a time. She focuses on delivering the best and safest training possible in order to promote everyday function.

Tim Wagner

Tim has a degree in Exercise Science and is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. Tim feels that workouts should test and improve your physical and mental abilities, but should be conducted in fun and creative ways to help keep you fully engaged. With a history of playing sports, Tim looks to create specific training programs designed to increase speed, power, agility, and reaction timing.

Sarah Van Eerden

Sarah is a Registered Dietitian. She completed her education at Michigan State University and the Medical University of South Carolina, and continues to learn more about nutrition every day. She uses a whole-person, meal-centered approach in her nutrition consultations. Her passion in nutrition is in guiding clients to be comfortable in the kitchen and excited about planning and creating healthy, delicious meals.
