In partnership with the Van Andel Institute for Education, we are offering this Mobile Classroom Field Trip. Does your child have what it takes to become a Mini Golf Master? In this exciting lesson, your child will dive into the basics of coding as they program their own smart golf ball (Sphero BOLT) to putt their way to victory! They will start by learning how golf is played and how it’s adapted for this unique version of robotic golf. Working together in teams, they’ll explore the fundamentals of coding and apply their skills to write code that controls their robot. The challenge is on as your child programs their robot to complete a golf course in as few moves as possible. This activity shows that STEM is for everyone, encouraging collaboration, creativity, and innovation in the fun world of robotic sports.
