HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training is a metabolic conditioning training method. This exercise strategy alternates periods of short intense anaerobic exercises with less-intense recovery periods. The short, intense workouts provide improved athletic capacity and condition, improved glucose metabolism, and improved fat burning.
