Erin has over 25 years of experience in healthcare, most recently as a pediatric nurse practitioner at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. She is a three time graduate of Grand Valley State University, and is certified as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, with specialty certifications in nutrition and women’s health. She became interested in earning her personal training certification when she saw first-hand how strength training helped her overall well-being, and has seen how becoming stronger has helped every aspect of her life. She is passionate about the role of muscle in aging well, as well as the role of nutrition in fueling our bodies adequately in order to see the results we desire. She strongly believes that fitness is a lifelong pursuit, and that discipline is one of the greatest acts of love we can give our future selves.
Erin has a special interest in working with middle aged women and older clients to help preserve independence and functionality.
