From opening night camp fires to spending your days soaking up the sun, making a splash on Barlow Lake, or horseback riding, YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin offers a unique and memorable experience.

Choose from a traditional overnight experience or a horse overnight experience and seize your summer at YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin.

Week 2: June 21-27 – Mad Science

This week will be filled with exciting camp-style experiments and exploration. Learning this week may be messy and wild but guaranteed to be fun!

Week 3: June 28- July 4 – America Week

Join us as we celebrate our amazing country! We will have the best birthday party this week for the U.S.A. There is no better place to spend July 4th than at Manitou-Lin!

Week 4: July 5-11 - Disney Week

Come enjoy the Magic Kingdom at camp! We are celebrating movies like Frozen but also classics like Snow White make sure to bring your favorite costumes for evening programs.

Week 5: July 12-18 – Harry Potter Week

It’s time to get your acceptance letter to The CAMP of Witchcraft and Wizardry! We will be hosting Hogwarts at YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin. No matter which house you belong to, each little wizard will have an enchanting good time making wands, learning spells, and learning the secrets of an amazing experience at CAMP.

Week 6: July 19-25 – Star Wars Week

A long time ago in a camp NOT so far away… It’s time to blast off into the galaxy and bring your droids and light sabers with you! It’s the Return of Star Wars week at YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin. Fly your Millennium Falcon down to camp and prepare to have an amazing time. The force is strong with your camper during this fun week.

Week 7: July 26-August 1 – Around the World Week

Take a stroll through the past and enjoy the golden years of camp! Campers will experience the throwback of fun camp games as well as all of our amazing 20th century activities like rock climbing.

Week 8: August 2-8 – Holiday Week

Christmas in July! 4th of July? Halloween in the summer… You may have to come to Camp and find out about all of our summer celebrations. Camp will provide the fun and you bring the energy and we will all have an amazing week of holiday cheer. We will definitely give thanks for all the great friends and memories that we make!

Our overnight camp activities offer your camper so many ways to have fun! All while gaining valuable life skills such as confidence, self-discipline, social interaction, and independence.

*Teen Camp and Specialty Camp Activities

Only offered for our overnight campers, a camptivity is a special two hour activity period held each day that campers choose based on their interests the first night at Camp.  The exception to this is horseback riding and water sports which must be chosen at time of registration.


Target Sports:  Learn to aim for the bull’s eye in archery, rock throwing and slingshots.  Just for fun, you might also try your skills out in other target sports such as horseshoes, mountain golf, disc golf and more.

Water Sports (Skiing, Wakeboarding, etc.):  Build your water sports skills while making a splash on Barlow Lake from tubing to knee-boarding, skiing to wake-boarding, and more.  Limited space. Must be chosen at time of registration.

Paddle Sports (Canoeing, Kayaking, Sailing, etc.): This is for the camper that truly loves the water!  Spend time improving swimming skills, canoeing, sailing, paddle boarding and kayaking techniques and more. Enjoy playing on the water toys, water slide and all kinds of water games all week long.

Horseback Riding: Centered on western riding skills, learn horse wellness, tack maintenance, and riding skills. Limited space. Must be chosen at time of registration.

High Adventure: Spend time among the treetops as you climb, conquer challenges, and face your fears while you gain experience in goal setting, belaying, ropes safety, teamwork, and exploring on our course. Activities take place on the low ropes, high ropes and zip-line.

Outdoor Living Skills: Love the outdoors? Than this is for you. Learn to take on any outdoor challenge as you spend time in activities such as, hiking, fire building, outdoor cooking, survival and “Leave No Trace.”

Arts and Crafts: For the imaginative and highly creative camper.  It is a great time to create more in-depth crafts that you get to take home!

Wildlife Discovery: Campers will have the opportunity to learn about animals and sustainability and predator/prey relationships. Campers will experience Willem’s Discovery Trail and center to explore each day.

Team Sports: For those who can’t get enough sports in their life, this is a perfect choice! The sports may include a mix of traditional and camp sports. Let your competitive spirit go wild.

Turn one week of Camp into two with our weekend stay-over.  Stay over Saturday during these two weeks for an additional $75.  Campers will take the time to recharge and get ready for the next week camp while making new friends and getting a more laid back camp experience.
