John is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He has many higher level education certifications such as the Corrective Exercise Specialization
and the Performance Enhancement Specialization also through NASM. John started his career in 2016 with the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids working with kids sports and attending the wellness desk. As he became a personal trainer with the YMCA he taught many classes such as TRX Suspension Training, TRX Rip Training, Kettlebell, Les Mills GRIT, and more! John enjoys all forms of training but considers he mastery in body mechanics and joint corrections/protection. If you ever see John, he loves to talk about exercise with anyone and everyone!
