My husband and I were thrilled to find out there was a YMCA childcare opening at Monroe Community Church, near our home. We had looked at for-profit childcare centers and were decidedly unimpressed. Knowing that there was a convenient spot for our daughter—AND it was operated by such a well-respected nonprofit made all the difference for us.

From the beginning, we were impressed by our interactions with the staff. Sarah was professional and caring and made us feel instantly comfortable entrusting her with our infant daughter. More than two years later, she continues to be very accessible and communicative, which really helps this first-time Mom! The classroom teachers and assistant teachers are no different. They provide loving care for our daughter, and we know that she’s learning and growing every day. Our daughter loves to go to “school” and see her friends—and she always comes home with a new song or story! I especially appreciate that all of the staff know and love her and keep us regularly updated on her antics.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at YMCA childcare at MCC. A huge thank you to Sarah and her entire team for essentially being an extension of our family!
