Kara Mockler

Kara earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from Michigan State University and completed her dietetic internship throughout West Michigan. As a
Registered Dietitian, Kara uses evidenced-based practice to help members reach their health and wellness goals including lowering cholesterol, managing diabetes, controlling weight, decreasing blood pressure, and planning nutritious meals. Kara’s goal is to help members improve their relationship with food and enjoy a healthy, balanced lifestyle. She has been a member at The Y nearly all her life and is excited to support members along their wellness journeys.

Rosemary Dolphin

Rosemary is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, AFAA Certified Group Exercise Instructor, Enhanced Fitness Exercise Instructor, and is Red Cross Certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED. She has over six years of personal training experience. Her favorite types of activities include, but are not limited to, strength and functional movement training. She believes that every person can improve balance, flexibility and strength no matter what age.

Julie Hoek

Julie is certified in the following: NASM Personal Trainer, and is an instructor in the followng: AFAA Group Exercise, Enhanced Fitness Exercise , PowerFlex, willPower & grace®, BODYPUMP™, and Cybex Coaching. Julie is also Red Cross Certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED. She has eight years of training experience and is a running, hiking, and water sport enthusiast.

Chelie certifications include: AFAA Certified Group Exercise Instructor; AFAA Certified Pilates Instructor; Red Cross Certified in First Aid, CPR and AED; willPower&grace® Instructor; Yogafit Certified Levels 1-5, Prenatal, Seniors, Yoga Lean. She is also a Y Strength & Conditioning Coach, LiveStrong at the YMCA Instructor, and Cancer Exercise Specialist. Her approach focuses on holistic wellness – a lifestyle comprised of clean eating for fuel, moving your mass daily, and creating work/life balance.

Terri Wilson

Terri holds the following certifications: NASM Certified Personal Trainer, American Red Cross AED/CPT/First Aid, AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Johnny G. Certified Spin Instructor, and Yogafit Certified Yoga Instructor. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a BS in Public Administration.  Terri emphasizes the importance of a healthy lifestyle with her clients. She believes in educating her clients on proper form and technique is important. She tries to give her clients the proper training, support, and guidance  to become independent and in control of their own health and wellness.
