LOWELL AREA YMCA
It’s more than the story of a building… it’s the story of a community.
Working in collaboration and partnership with many others, the Lowell YMCA has long been central to building a strong and integrated community that cares for people. Since its beginning in 1959, the Lowell YMCA has served Lowell and the surrounding communities through programs and activities that strengthen the spirit, mind and body of all. It’s been a part of your home.
We have the opportunity to create a new beginning, built on the foundation created through the support and dedication of the Lowell community over many decades.
We are excited to expand our offerings at a new location, the former site of the Impact Church through a gift generously donated decades ago, the Frank Twining King Memorial Fund, who saw a future need to grow. A new state-of-the-art YMCA will be designed to meet the needs of the Lowell community.
The new Lowell Area YMCA will ensure that for generations to come, all community members have access to wellness, recreation and social support networks that are key to a healthy community life.
